SOUTHERN OREGON BACKYARD WEDDING | Emily Hary Photography

Feast your eyes on this gorgeous Spanish-themed Southern Oregon wedding. Philip + Alicia contacted me to photograph their wedding in her parent’s Ashland, Oregon backyard. The ceremony setting was among a grove of oak trees with golden hills and a winery in the distance. It was full of bold color + fun textures. These two turned the backyard into a breathtaking reception venue, complete with long picnic-style tables, food trucks, string lights, and an outdoor dance floor.

The day started with snacks and casual getting ready. Philip headed over to the property and we did a first look. The ceremony was hot + sunny. They did a champagne toast and exited with confetti all around. I think that’s a great idea! For dinner, guests had their choice of food trucks, which lined the driveway. How awesome is that?! We drove down the road at sunset for some bonus portraits before dark. Alicia showed off her custom jean jacket and they enjoyed a drink together. Dancing, donuts, and fun times capped this amazing day off. It was such an honor to document all the sweet moments and celebrate with them!
