ERIC + CAROLYN: ARIZONA ROCK CLIMBING ENGAGEMENT AT MOUNT LEMMON
This Arizona rock climbing engagement at Mount Lemmon is a dream come true. I had the awesome privilege of vising Tucson for the first time and documenting these two adventurous lovers. Eric + Carolyn recently moved to Arizona, and are loving the natural outdoor playground that the area provides. Both of these cool kids are outdoor lovers. They love to spend time rock climbing together, traveling, camping, hiking, kayaking, and more. They thought it was fitting to do some of those adventurous activities for their engagement photos with me. More of this please! We chose Mount Lemmon for the location, and made a day of it. The mountain changed from cacti-filled roadsides to endless pine tree forests, as we made our way to the top. We took some time to sip wine, hang in a hammock and cuddle, and enjoy the views. Then we geared up for a little rappelling + rock climbing. This was the best part of the day! I wedged myself between a shrub and the mountainside and snapped some wildy playful images of Eric + Carolyn. So fun! One of those photos (the one above) actually ended up as Rangefinder Magazine’s Photo of The Day! See the image + article here. We quickly changed into the last outfit and met on the mountaintop for some romantic photos on Windy Point. The sunset was stunning, as we watched the warm hues disappear and the city lights turn on down below. Cannot wait for their wedding this May in Oregon!
