COLORFUL LAKE MICHIGAN ELOPEMENT INSPIRATION

I’m excited to bring you this colorful Lake Michigan elopement inspiration I dreamed up with LB Floristry. We wanted to showcase what it could look like for a couple to elope on the shores of Lake Michigan (complete with a fun VW bus)! Brunch, florals everywhere, and a cozy set up to soak up the best day ever. It was a pleasure to plan + photograph such a fun day with all the amazing vendors below!

Why be miserably stressed while planning a super expensive day? Why be anxious and frustrated on the day of when you can craft a low-key/relaxed day with your soul mate instead? Eloping isn’t running away like our parents think. It’s choosing to celebrate your commitment without the restraints of traditions or rules. Aside from the legalities, you can literally do WHATEVER THE HECK YOU WANT. Get married in your backyard at night, have a picnic by the ocean, take a helicopter ride up a mountain, hike in your favorite national/state park. That’s the beauty of eloping; it’s you two and what matters most! It’s an experience, and not a production.
