You’re probably here because you’re planning an Iceland elopement near Vik, Skogafoss, Budir, Reykjavik, or somewhere else awesome. Either way, I’m glad you’re here. Hi, I’m Emily Hary. I’ve been photographing weddings all over the U.S. for 11 years. The adventures in my life have taken me to 45 of the 50 states so far. I pride myself on giving couples a fun, meaningful, and straightforward experience. If you’re looking for that, I’m here to help you!

After planning, I’ll be there to document all the adventure + emotion on your special day. I believe landscapes and love just go together. My work is true to natural color, and showcases your amazing location. I love what I do and I’m excited to meet you!

Upon booking, I’ll provide you a detailed location suggestion guide in our planning hub. We’ll get a loose plan of the day going, find you vendors you may need, and answer all your questions promptly along the way.

I’ve traveled all over Iceland for a week in May 2016, and it was hardly enough time. This country is made for adventure elopements! Natural hot springs, waterfalls, glaciers, mountains, puffins, whales, wild horses, and more. If I’m able to be your Iceland elopement photographer, we can dive into my list of epic location options. Does an epic waterfall backdrop appeal to you? What about hiking to a quiet ocean-side spot for your ceremony? Or taking an exhilarating 4×4 road to a sweeping view?

Iceland provides a great place to honeymoon after your vows too. Soaking in the Blue Lagoon with a smoothie in hand was just what I needed after hiking. The scenic driving each day was the best part of Iceland. When I travel, not only do I document weddings, but I take the time to scout for future celebrations.

Pro tips: Schedule your Blue Lagoon  or Sky Lagoon visit in advance, and right when they open. Your experience will be less crowded + more enjoyable overall.  I visited the Blue Lagoon as soon as we landed in the morning. Swimming around in a giant natural hot tub was much welcomed after a long flight.
