JOE + BRITTNEY: FREE-SPIRITED HIKING ENGAGEMENT AT CEDAR FALLS IN ARKANSAS
Joe + Brittney traveled overnight all the way from Kansas City to meet me for this adventurous hiking engagement in Arkansas. Brittney and I have known each other since grade school. And she’s a fellow social worker! We started off the day with a mid-morning hike to Cedar Falls at Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas. This place was the perfect backdrop for some carefree + romantic images. The waterfall spills over the dark cliffs into a large pool. It’s 95 feet tall! These two love spending time together outside, so they were stoked to experience the falls. Give me all the outdoorsy couples! They took a trip a few years ago to the Grand Canyon and hiked to the bottom. Beasts! They also got to visit the magical Havasu Falls. It sounded like an amazing adventure. Since these two drove all night to meet me, we took a break and met up later in the evening for some dreamy golden hour photos, and of course, more hiking for this hiking engagement session. The whole day was so enjoyable, as the clouds cleared up and we got to know one another better while exploring the park.
