We pivoted and hooked up with Alaska Helicopter Tours at Knik River Lodge for an epic tour onto a glacier and mountaintop. These two got ready in a yurt together as it drizzled rain outside. Soon we were inside and briefed for safety.

The helicopter ride was INCREDIBLE. Blue pools dotted the jagged black + white glacier. It was expansive and made us feel so tiny. We scoured the pools from above for the right one. Once we landed, we got our crampons on for grip on the ice and explored around. It was just us and the pilot. So quiet; no stress and no expectations. I even signed as the officiant! I’m ordained and can legally marry you in most U.S. states.
