AUSTIN + ONNA: EMOTIONAL OUTDOOR CAMP WEDDING IN ILLINOIS
What an honor to photograph this emotional outdoor camp wedding in Illinois. I’ve known the bride Onna since college, from our cross country and track days. You may have also seen these two from this waterfall proposal that went viral. Documenting their wedding day at Camp Summit in Illinois was even better, and an absolute pleasure. Every part of the day was intentional; these two aim to glorify God in all areas of their lives and it shows. They were radiant with love for Him and each other, and just so happy to be getting hitched! No emotions were held back; everyone was comfortable to be themselves, even with two cameras floating around. I love when that happens. That’s when the best, most cherished images are created.
From their sun-dappled ceremony in the woods to the adventurous lakeside canoe portraits, the whole outdoor camp wedding day was gorgeous + fun-filled. The bridal party brought the energy as we did photos in a grassy meadow. Later on we took a 4×4 gator up to a hill and caught the last few minutes of golden sun after a glorious day celebrating.
