SUNNY BROOKINGS ELOPEMENT WITH CLIFFSIDE VIEWS

Jordan + Brittany wanted an elopement on the Oregon Coast, surrounded by nature’s beauty and their closest family + friends. We planned their Brookings elopement together, from the ground up. After reviewing lodging choices in the area, The Chetco River Inn provided a peaceful off-grid basecamp for the whole group to stay together. That was important to J+B; they had guests travel in as far as New Zealand! It was a relaxing spot for J+B to get ready. They then met outside on the lovely property for a first look.

AN INTIMATE ELOPEMENT CEREMONY ALONG THE OREGON COAST

After the first look, everyone drove out from Brookings, and down the coast a bit. Their ceremony spot was panoramic, with huge ocean rocks. The sun was shining and the wind was breezy. Nonetheless, these two wed on the Oregon Coast in the warm seagrass, without another soul around. Afterwards, everyone took some champagne and toasted to the newly married couple. We did family photos and then frolicked on the beach.

BROOKINGS ELOPEMENT WITH LOCAL CRAFT BEER

Chetco Brewing Company in Brookings, Oregon was a perfect place for a drink and snack. Jordan + Brittany loved being able to pause, soak up their day, and try a local drink in a new place. I highly recommend building a little time into your elopement day for something random. Some of the most memorable moments from elopement days are not planned into the schedule. Be flexible and leave room for “magic”!

BROOKINGS ELOPEMENT IN SAMUEL H. BOARDMAN SCENIC COORIDOR

The very best part of choosing Brookings, Oregon as your elopement location is that there are endless beautiful locations for photos. Samuel H. Boardman is a section of the coast that is often used for Brookings elopements. Rocky cliffs, secluded beaches, and jaw-dropping views are why this often overlooked part of the coast is so popular with couples who decide to do something adventurous + intimate for their wedding. As your elopement photographer and planning support, I will educate you on the options and we’ll craft an elopement that suits your wants + needs. Ready to plan your own Brookings elopement?
