ALASKA GLACIER HIKING ELOPEMENT
ALASKA GLACIER ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Is there anything more magical than hiking to a glacier in Alaska for your elopement day? Not much in my opinion. Maybe taking a helicopter to one. The ice and snow in the middle of the summer are a fun treat! These two were planning a traditional wedding in New England when they quickly realized that wasn’t what they wanted. They ditched those plans, found me, and after some planning met up in Alaska for an unforgettable elopement experience that truly felt like them. They wanted adventure, hiking, and glaciers. Alaska delivers on all those fronts, always.
We narrowed our location down to a glacier only about an hour drive from Anchorage, Alaska. They brought their two close friends. One of them even officiated the intimate ceremony on the snow. It was a secluded, sunny, and a genuinely fun time together. After we made it official, exploring commenced. We explored the river, gazed at ominous icy caverns, played in the water, and enjoyed each other’s company. There was no real set plan. Why? Because that is often what eloping couples want. FREEDOM. FLEXIBILTY. EXPERIENCES.
Nothing against traditional larger weddings (I had one), but the planning one + the day-of schedule can quickly become exhausting. Don’t want the responsibility of entertaining and feeding lots of guests? Don’t like all those eyes on you all stinkin’ day? Totally okay! Elope with just you two or few friends/family in a new and desired location. Then maybe plan something celebratory later on. Contact now to get started.
ALASKA GLACIER HIKING ELOPEMENT
Newsflash! Cookie cutter weddings are out. You all are too unique in your personalities and interests to be expected to do what couple A or B did for their day. Look within your relationship, then outward together. Dream big and make it happen! An elopement with boujee experiences is still wayyyy cheaper than your average traditional American wedding. Invest in two or three vendors that mean the most to you. Photos? Florals? Amazing lodging? Up to you. Can this be overwhelming in and of its self? For sure.
Good thing I take a very limited number of elopements per year (literally like ten). This is so that I can tackle the problem of choices with you. I’ll help you choose location, find vendors, decide day-of activities, and give a lot of helpful information + suggestions along the way. It’s all part of the planning support I include for every elopement package. Fill out my contact form today to get the ball rollin. Even if you know you want to elope, but aren’t sure of where or when, we can team up and figure it out together. Excited to create with you already!
