LOOKING FOR AN ALASKA ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER?
Hi! I’m Emily Hary. You’re probably here because you’re planning an Alaska elopement near Juneau, Seward, Alyeska, Valdez, Skagway, or somewhere else awesome. Either way, I’m glad you’re here. I’ve been photographing elopements + weddings all over the U.S. for 12 years now. The adventures in my life have taken me to 45 of the 50 states so far. I pride myself on giving couples a fun experience with planning support along the way. If you’re looking for that, I’m here to help you.
I’ll be there to document all the adventure + emotion on your special day. I believe landscapes and love just go together. My work is true to natural color, and showcases your amazing location. I love what I do and I’m excited to meet you!
ALASKA ELOPEMENT LOCATIONS
I’ve been to Alaska several times and have visited places like: Seward, Denali, Kenai Fjords, Hatcher Pass, Girdwood/Alyeska, Fairbanks, and more. It’s the perfect place for an adventure elopement! I have a list of epic location options for your elopement and/or photos. Does a mountain-filled ceremony spot sound like what you want? What about hiking to a pristine alpine lake for your ceremony? Or taking a heli ride to a vast glacier? Alaska isn’t called the Last Frontier for nothin’! When I travel, not only do I document weddings, but I take the time to scout for future celebrations. Yay! A COUPLE ALASKA TRAVEL TIPS
Visit from June-August for the best all-around Alaska elopement experience. Whale watching is in full swing in the summer. I’ve seen humpbacks bubble feeding near Seward and a plethora of wildlife; bear, moose, bald eagles, etc. Also, book yourself a boat tour out of Seward to see Kenai Fjords National Park, whales, and wildlife of all kinds. You won’t regret it. Kenai Fjords Tours or Major Marine are both excellent. I’ve taken a tour with each. My favorite cabins of all time are near Seward, Salted Roots Cabins. I highly recommend staying there (book far in advance!). Also, check out the Nordic Spa at Alyeska. We did their hydrotherapy in 2022, and had a relaxing afternoon there.
