JEFF + KATY: ADVENTUROUS INDIANA ENGAGEMENT WITH DOGS
This adventurous Indiana engagement reminded me why it’s so fun to bring dogs with for photos! Jeff + Katy contacted me to do their engagement and one of their requirements was to have their “boys” Joe + Chief there too. I am always game for having fur babies in engagement photos! They provide comedic relief, are great agents for movement, and make for the sweetest memories.
We all met up and hiked around some moody canyons and found some lovely light-beams to play in. Between games of fetch and pets, we made our way through more trails. Jeff + Katy popped a special champagne they’d been saving and enjoyed a special drink together (always a good idea). At the end of the evening they did a quick change in the woods for some time in the water. The dogs loved it! Chief swam right up to us and splashed around. Joe joined in too and before we knew it we were all crackin’ up so hard. They are the cutest little family! We busted out noodles for some good fun too.
Even though we had just met that day, Jim and I felt like we’d known Jeff + Katy and were already friends during our adventurous Indiana engagement session. They didn’t waste time getting vulnerable + little spicy in front of the camera, which led me to create some beautiful memories for them. They were always down for my ideas + trusted me which is the ultimate! Just letting go and having a good time with me is the goal. No one likes to be all tied up in their head thinking about “taking photos”. The goal is to get you to forget about it and just be present with your bestie having a fun experience. Sound like a good time? Let’s plan your adventurous Indiana engagement! I love anything unique + movement-based. Ideas: waterfalls, cliffs, hiking, picnics, kayaking, airplane hanger, winery, beach, the possibilities are endless! Start a conversation with me here about yours!
