ACADIA NATIONAL PARK SAILING ENGAGEMENT
I was elated when Stephen + Kim invited me to photograph their Acadia National Park sailing engagement. Kim’s favorite place in the whole world is Maine. She brought her hubby-to-be all the way from St. Louis to experience it. We met up for a sunset cruise with Sail Acadia. Our ship was named Alice E. and was built in 1899! Our captain was amazing, giving us answering to all our questions and making us feel comfortable. We cruised the Southwest Harbor until the sky turned bright pink.
Then we went out for some traditional Maine lobster at Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound. It was an amazing evening spend with new friends, and an unforgettable experience we shared! If you ever find yourself in Acadia National Park sailing, then give Sail Acadia a try. Enjoy a glass of wine with your best friend with gorgeous views all around. Contact me here!
Other things to check out while in the area:
+ Hike Precipice Trail if you dare (not for the faint of heart)
+ Scenic driving around (we went in October which was prime time for foliage)
+ Catch sunrise at Cadillac Mountain (where light hits first in the continental U.S.)
+ Fresh seafood all around (mmm, delicious)
+ Under Canvas Acadia (glamping)
+ Shop in downtown Bar Harbor
+ Choco-Latte (coffee shop with great avocado toast)
+ Acadia Park Company (gifts and such)
